FLYNN ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!

F The Packers and F McCarthy! This team is one big effing tease. To lose to the Lions is flat out embarassing. The playcaling was terrible. The running game is non-existant. And Flynn is shit. This team is dead.

Yep

The loss sucks hard because it pretty much ends the season, short of a miracle. I disagree with Yoda9 about Flynn (he simply has not seen enough action to make a fair judgement), but I agree strongly about the McCarthy/Thompson regime. They can put together a good team, but not a champion.

by clincher on Dec 12, 2010 3:16 PM CST up reply actions

Flynn does not suck.

He’s a kid who’s barely gotten to play. I thought he actually did fairly well considering he didn’t get to prep all week. If the decision to go deep on 4th and 1 was his it was an awful one, but you get that with kids trying to make a play.

I know,

But Flynn had a chance to win the game at the end, and MM called a shotgun draw (which not surprisingly went nowhere) followed by a home run shot on 4th and 1.

I put more blame on him for calling another horrendous game, because I think, if the Packers pick up that first down, the likely end up winning the game today.

Why this loss hurts

is that GB had every chance to take this game, and the Packers blew ALL of them. And I mean all of them.

We knew someday that our streak over Detroit would end. We knew it. This loss aches, but I am NOT furious about it. I used my fury when the Badgers were awful in 2008, and I can’t get worked up about this sort of thing any more. I can’t.

Our cushion has been destroyed. We can no longer rely on anyone to do our work for us. Pure and simply put, the Packers MUST win all of their remaining games or we’re not going to be going anywhere come January.
