It's a shame that a team from the NFC West not only gets to go to the playoffs, but they get to host a playoff game!
Rules should just be top 6 teams go to the playoffs.

Then,
why bother having divisions at all.
I would be more in favor of letting the division winners automatically go to the playoffs, regardless of record, then seed the teams by record, regardless of division status.

The Giants and Eagles still play each other
so there should be at least one more loss for either of those teams. But everything else is a moot point if we win out and go 12-4.

That probably writes Tampa Bay out of the NFC South playoff picture.
Tampa Bay is 0-3 against Atlanta and New Orleans this year. No way they make up any ground. That’s too big a head-to-head hole to dig out of.
