Sunday Night Open Thread: Steelers at Ravens

Not an NFC game, but a huge game for the Steelers and Ravens with 1st place in the AFC North on the line. After the Steelers barely got a win last week against an awful Bills team, and with a banged up offensive line, I would expect the Ravens have the advantage. But the line on this game is only Ravens by 2.5.

Man, I don't miss playing these two teams this year.

After that fight, I don’t want to play these teams again.

I didn't believe it last August, but it turns out that love survives.

They were available at the stadium.

And my guess is that they’ll be around at the pro-shop.

I thought McCarthy’s jacket looked pretty sharp.

BCB free since 8/24/10 and happier for it.

I like you guys searched all over for it. Called Packersproshop and they said these have been on sale since August but are currently sold out and that’s why they aren’t on the website. I put out a call on FB and someone came back with this link. They were in stock as of (10:30AM 12/6/10)

Why have I never heard of this show before?

Suddenly everybody went berserk on Twitter and Facebook about it. Looks like I’ll have to check it out.

It just amazes me that this is the first I'm hearing of this show.

Especially since I love zombie movies and video games and such.

The Packers streak of getting coaches fired unfortunately won't happen in SF

The NFC West sucks so bad, the 49ers are still in the NFC West race.

This is pretty cool...

Playoff Race

Highlights:
Packers have the 5th best chance to make the playoffs with a overall chance of 65.33%. They have the highest percent chance to make the 6th wildcard (26.6%) and have a 17.9% chance to win the division with the 2 seed.

Bears have an 88.45% chance to make the playoffs, 13.7% chance to have the number 1 seed, 38.3% for the 2nd, and a 13.5% chance to get a wildcard.

The Vikings have a 1.2% chance to get the 6th spot. SO YOU’RE TELLING ME THERE IS A CHANCE!

Lions are out officially.

by Bush League All Star on Dec 5, 2010 10:06 PM CST reply actions

Neato.

Click on the Packers in the link and it gives you impact on the game and percentage. So tonight’s game, we should be cheering for the Steelers as that would impact our chances by .35% increase!

by Bush League All Star on Dec 5, 2010 10:08 PM CST up reply actions

If the Ravens win,

it has a .37% decrease, so
that is a .72% swing!

So I picked up a half-case of Forest Grove Pinot Noir (2009) at $10/bottle

And I finally cracked the first bottle today. It’s a little watery, but the pinot flavor is excellent. Medium-body with some citrus notes. Damn, but I love Oregon pinots…

I kind of made it a mission as a younger person

To acquire a taste for every type of alcohol out there. So I went through phases of drinking different stuff to see what all was out there. So now I’m a helluva good guy to know at the bar – generally, I can see what you’re drinking now and tell you something new you might enjoy.

It’s come in handy on more than one occasion.

I've gotta say

NBC’s HD coverage looks prettier than any other channel’s. It may be that they just have night games, but it looks better than MNF or TNF, too. Will they ever get another Super Bowl?

Well, for starters,

Joe Buck doesn’t understand a thing about baseball. Which is probably why they hired him to do football … he doesn’t understand a thing about football either. Pair him with Tim McCarver, who is almost insufferable, and that is far from the ideal booth.

Al Michaels, meh. Middle of the road, but sometimes, he gets very repetitive.
