When I posted this,
I tried to include a link o the Press-Gazette article where I first read about it, and, also, tried to include the following quote from Dyer’s oldest son, Scott.
He never wanted anything from anybody.
He never really pursued getting anything from the NFL.
He just went to work.
And it was hard.
Something that would take you or I 10 minutes to do would take him 25.
He could walk and he could move, but he was never 100 percent.
I have done little enough of this sort of thing, however, that I am still trying to get it all figured out.
Regardless, i would like to commend Mr. Dyar, posthumously, for the progress which he was able to make in his recovery from his devastating injury.
Maybe “he was never 100 percent,” but what he was able to accomplish was more than most would have.

The glass is more than half-full.
You should be able to edit it
"Who ever heard of the Cubs losing a game they had to have?" -Frank Chance
"If [Ruth] had [called his shot], I would have knocked him down with the next pitch." -Charlie Root
There should be (on his screen, at least) a little “notepad” icon near the title. That would let him edit it.
For those who can't remember the uncapped FA rules, this link's for you.
