Taylor Mays' 40 Time: Twitter Explodes
Guys, McShay and Kiper just choked on their lunch. Taylor Mays initially appeared to have run the 40-yard dash in 4.24 seconds. However, the official number is 4.43. Thoughts? Does this make him more appealing to the Packers at the 23rd pick? Or, more likely, does Al Davis scoop him up in the 8th spot?

From watching this video, I’m not initially impressed. I saw what seemed a lot of poor tackling, a lot of would-be-highlight-hits that missed… not much special.
We had a guy built like that recently by the name of Aaron Rouse. Maybe not that fast, but I’d rather have a shorter guy who can play than a tall fast guy who can’t. As usual, I can only hope that TedCo do their homework. And I still think LT is a higher priority. :-)
Is the video you linked a highlight or a lowlight haha? So the guy can make tackles down field, great. After all it’s almost expected when your consistently letting guys catch the ball right in front of you. He reminds of Rouse so much. Both big, athletic freaks who can’t cover worth a darn.

This is why I hate the combine
All this proves is that the player is a great athlete, not a great football player.
Not related, but I've been meaning to ask you...
Are you going to the Minnesota-Wisconsin hockey series this weekend?

Unfortunately no, I'm going out of town for the weekend.
You making the trip up for it?

I am indeed.
It should be an entertaining series. I’m hoping for a repeat of last year in the Twin Cities.
