LB Jeremy Thompson released, retires.
Due to medical concerns regarding his neck injury the Packers have released Jeremy Thompson and he has announced his plans to retire from football. It's a shame things couldn't have worked out better for him. I wish him luck in the future.

I wish him the best of luck in the future.
He said some nice things on the Packers in a statement: “The Packers are a first-class organization, and I want to thank them for the opportunity to play in the NFL. There truly is no team I would have rather played for.”
