Bulaga Signs Contract; All 82 In Camp On Time
The last unsigned Packer is now in the fold. It's a 5-year deal for almost $15 million, with about $8.75 million guaranteed.

yaaaaaaaaay.
"Career highlights? I had two. I got an intentional walk from Sandy Koufax and I got out of a rundown against the Mets." - Bob Uecker
To my untrained and too-lazy-to-look-up eye...
This looks like a good deal for us? Average of 3 million of a year. A little over half the money is guaranteed.
Fair contract for all parties involved?

Very much so.
Most importantly, no days missed of training camp. Every single time we have a guy miss any significant portion of camp, they always get hurt. Ryan Grant did, Javon Walker did, even back in the late 90s when Dorsey Levens and Antonio Freeman held out, we’d give them a big tender then they’d go and break their leg the 2nd or 3rd game of the year. There’s a really big correlation between guys who show up and get used to getting knocked around and practicing and the ones that don’t.
Ryan Grant
Remember his hold out after his great 8 games and then a somewhat sub par performance after that?

I guess?
I’m no accountant, but it looks like a pretty good deal for us considering he is the future at LT? I’m glad we got him in there on time…
pronunciation troubles
I’ve seriously got to start training my brain to read his name as “Boo-lahga” instead of “Bah-luga.” I have a season pass at Sea World here in SD, and the pronunciation of those chubby white whales is stuck in my brain (no insult to Mr. Bulaga intended for comparing him to a chubby white whale).
ps – 15 million for 5 years does seem like a hell of a deal for the Pack
Rookie mistake.
It took me about 15 minutes after we drafted him to realize the error of my ways. As you mentioned though, a mispronunciation in not entirely inappropriate
All is vanity.
