Community Poll: Fan Confidence Poll
The first change that's happened here at Acme Packing Company is the new Fan Confidence Poll. Maybe you've noticed it in the upper left hand corner. This is a new feature here, but these polls have been rolled out over the past year at SB Nation sites that are part of a regional blog hub, like SB Nation Chicago. Alas, I've had no word that an SB Nation Wisconsin is on the horizon.
The poll is reset every Monday and stays open for 48 hours. Registered and anonymous readers can vote. Right now it's a monthly poll, but it might be more relevant as a monthly poll and the voting stays open the first week of every month. Let me know if you think it should be a weekly or monthly poll.
UPDATE: I messed up the earlier poll with a nonsensical question. That’s what I get for trying to write a quick post before I go to work. If anyone is still interested, I changed what was formerly a ‘Yes’ question to ‘Weekly’ and ‘No’ to ‘Monthly’.
Also, thanks to everyone who joined the second Acme Packing Company league. It's a 12-team league, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm just giddy about the football season starting.
CBSSports.com and SB Nation has a 50% discount when you sign up for a Commissioner League by following this link, or clicking on the logo above, and it costs $90. And there is a 14-day free trial.
CBSSports.com is an SB Nation partner and paying sponsor of the SB Nation football communities.
This post is one of a series of sponsor endorsed posts related to the CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Commissioner League.

Monthly or Weekly, Yes or No
You might want to re-phrase the question:) I think weekly, but I can’t tell if Yes or No means weekly.
I voted "no"
because I don’t think it should be weekly or monthly. :-)
Fortnightly? Semimonthly? Or maybe semiweekly? Decadaily? Decimonthly?
Once every 5 minutes?
"A ringing single for David Eckstein who, in my view, is the perfect size for an American male." -Bob Costas
Once every fifteen SECONDS
That’s how often my emotions changed in that wild card playoff game…
My kingdom for a spellchecker. Or Devin Harris. Hopefully both.
For all the crap we give Wil Wheaton, he can still tackle better than Asante Samuel...
Manning drops back to pass, Comedic.Sans and Wilfork come flying in and SACK him for a loss of twelve on 3rd and goal!

haha...poll fail?
I think weekly is good cause I’d like to see how it changes week to week (game to game). Curious how much a good or bad game will affect peoples attitudes toward the team.
There are three types of people in the world
Those who are good at math, and those who aren’t.

I think Brandon's post here is a test...
My answer is:
8!
no, no, Pike’s Peak!
no, wait… the square of the hypotenuse of any right triangle is the sum of the squares of the other two sides!
Did I get it? (please, please!)

Monthly
Cuz if you have it weekly, too many people will jump ship over one game… If you have it monthly, people will have FAR more perspective!!! No perspective = Useless, IMO…
That's why I want it weekly!
It would be a demonstration of how irrational and panicky fans are….and then we can compare to other teams in the league and see which fans are truly the most "fan"atic!

exactly.
Actually monthly might not really do what Stroh thinks it might…it will still just be based off where the feel the team is after the very last game. It will just be a smaller sample size. As one of the resident Marketing people in the board, I say we go for weekly to truly get the feel for the fanbase…it may show there is more perspective than you think. (or it may prove Stroh’s point haha)
So how to answer the poll?
Yes = monthly
No = weekly
?? Just wondering. I like the weekly idea
Genius work, Brandon!
I voted “yes” as it should probably be one of the options, yes.
Such Hilarious Comments
Wow, I never realized Packer were such big comediens!
Yes, everyone noticed the error with the poll and yes, everyone had their own little joke to post. Not so genius after the third post. Lay off Brandon.
I was just kidding.
Brandon posts a thousand things, and we appreciate it. I’s just hackin’ on him.

Yes????
I say every week is a good idea. That way ya can get a feel of how the team’s doing week by week.
When life gives ya lemons, shut up and eat your damn lemons.
With the change in the poll, do we get to re-vote?
Because I voted for “no”, not for “monthly”! Given the choice between weekly and monthly, I’d choose weekly.
You’ll have to submit your appeal in triplicate to the blog’s Colledge Avenue office during regular business hours, which are in the mornings on the second Tuesdays and the afternoons on the third Thursdays of all even-numbered months.
