Friday Injury Report: Green Bay Packers at Eagles

I've never seen an NFL team publish an injury report with nobody listed on it, but that's what the Philadelphia Eagles did. Couldn't they at least make an effort and list C Jamaal Jackson, who didn't play at all this preseason, on the report as probable? Listing nobody seems impossible to me, even if everyone is going to play.

On an injury report, players listed as "did not participate" on Friday usually do not play on Sunday. Nothing typically changes over the weekend. And this week five players had that status:

LB Desmond Bishop. He hasn't played since the preseason game against the Colts. He had an MRI in August, and he's been doing rehab since. He was able to practice on Wednesday, so maybe this is his last week out.

LT Chad Clifton. Here's the exception to the rule. The Press-Gazette reports that the veteran was given the day off to rest his knees and shoulders.

S Derrick Martin. And here's another exception the rule. Just like Clifton, Mike McCarthy said Martin sat out practice because he's coming off surgery.

DE Mike Neal. Not sure where this injury came from. He practiced on Wednesday, but nothing since. Mike McCarthy seemed pessimistic, but Neal said they were "just taking precautions." I remember Underwood dismissed his shoulder injury a couple weeks ago too, but that hasn't gone away either. I'll bet he doesn't play on Sunday.

CB Brandon Underwood. We were just talking about you! It doesn't seem like his shoulder, which he hurt during the Colts game, has gotten any better over the past couple weeks. I'm not sure when he's set to return, but it won't be against the Eagles.

The complete list from Packers.com is after the jump. Everyone else appears to be ready to play, and they look in good shape heading into Sunday.

Underwood

Sure hope he gets well. It seems were real thin until he gets back as Lee hasn’t shown anything. We could really use Harris and Bigby back after week six for depth, just in time for our schedule getting a little tougher. That’s a hell of a jump for Shields going from undrafted rookie free agent 2 months ago being brought in primarily special teams to starting against the Eagles an probably 60% of the snaps. Let’s hope his schooling has been good and he doesn’t get schooled.

NFL.com is saying Woodson is listed as probable

Because of the same toe that’s been bothering him since 2008 was injured during Thursday’s practice.

More than likely he’ll play through it like he did last year and still come up huge.
