I'm a homer

I was one of the 100 or so voters who chose the Packers which was a heck of a win. I watched most of the Chiefs/Chargers game and still don’t know how Chiefs won it. It certainly was a franchise changing win for a team that has been the Chargers’s doormat in recent seasons.

Chiefs

That is a big win, but the ’Skins win over Dallas is much bigger to me. For one thing it could actually lead to the playoffs. For another, I hate the Cowboys.

I think the Houston win was bigger...

I think the Chiefs victory seems bigger because it was the last game we all saw laughs. But I think Houston’s shockingly easy handling of Indy was the game of the weak. Second, I might go with the Chiefs game.

Houston

They have always been (and will probably continue to be) the David to Indianapolis’ Goliath . . . Dallas/Washington and San Diego/Kansas City are historic rivalries that are usually competitive no matter what.

I went KC/SD as well

To me, Houston has played Indy well in several games but fallen short at the end. One of those times they were bound to best Indy. Houston also had a winning record last year, so there was some quality already there. So it was not as shocking to me.

KC, who you figured to go 2-14 this year or at best 4-12, definitely was the bigger upset.

Ravens/Jets

Maybe the NY A$$es will shut up for awhile.
Wanted to go Bears/Lions as a sarcastic pick but, couldn’t vote for a gift win.

I went with the steelers. I was watching a bunch of it and it was a gutty hard fought win over a tough young squad!

That was a huge win for Pitt

What exactly is a Prilosec victory?

A Hard one? Lopsided? Against best opponent?

SKINS OVER COWBOYS

Shows the Redskins have a little something to build on and that they won’t be the gimme team in the NFC east. My second pick woulda been Chiefs over Chargers.
