I ran into an interesting article on ProFootballWeekly.com today and it made me think we should do something like this...a Packer MVP meter. Keep tabs on who is the Packers MVP (Not league...though its likely whoever finishes at the top will likely be in the running) for the season on a week to week basis (not who the MVP for the week is though).
I think the early season leader for most of us is going to be obvious, but we'll talk more after the jump...
Here is PFW's list after week two:1. OLB Clay Matthews(notes)
2. QB Aaron Rodgers(notes)
3. TE Jermichael Finley(notes)
4. LB Brandon Chillar(notes)
5. WR-RS Jordy Nelson(notes)
I was a little surprised to see names like Chillar and Nelson finishing out their top 5, especially since neither is a starter. I assume Jordy is up there mostly for his ST efforts and I have to admit, I wasn't able to watch game 2 but Jordy looked great in week one on ST. Chillar is a guy many in here think should be a starter so it was interesting to see his name mentioned as well.
Who would be on your top 5? I'll chime in with a post later and let their list speak for itself. If you want to read their analysis on why each person made it, click HERE.
