Vote For The NFL Victory Of The Week

This post is sponsored by Prilosec.

If you were riveted as the Green Bay Packers crushed the Bills on Sunday, and thought it was the best game of the week, you're as big a homer as me. If I wasn't a Packers fan and saw that game on TV, I'd wonder why CBS wasn't changing over to a better one. Instead of voting on all the games this week, we've narrowed the selection down to a few games that were competitive.

I actually got to watch three of those games (thanks to having 6 screens bunched together at my local sports bar), and thought it was a big victory for the Bears. While the Vikings and Ravens both had QBs who couldn't stop throwing INTs. And where's the Saints over the 49ers? Well, I'm not in charge of putting together this poll.

That's what I picked

David kept Goliath at bay that game and made Brett The Gray throw 3 picks and kept AP under 100 yards. Not bad at all.

David vs...

I wouldn’t call that a David vs Goliath game. Miami is a good team, IMO.. And they will challenge NYJets for the AFC East. BTW- AP ran for 145, so they didn’t exactly contain him!!!

Exactly…not at ALL a David vs Goliath. THIS week is a David vs Goliath game for Minny though…

Yeah

Gotta go with the one that put the viqueens in an 0-2 hole. Nice job, Miami.

Nah, Texans

A much more “heart burnish” win for them and loss for the Redskins.

Dolphins or Jets...

I went with Dolphins but I thought about Jets too…that wasa HUGE statement game for them after a tough, ugly loss to the Ravens.

You forgot

Saints over 49ers. For me it’s a close call between that one and Texans in OT over the Skins.

well...

if the 49ers pulled it off maybe I would go there but the Saints should have won that game and barely pulled it off…

Where's Pitt over Ten?

They’re down to the 4th string QB and still winning games

+1

Steelers appear to have their monster defense back. If they do they should be favorites to go to the Super Bowl. Roethlisberger doesn’t even have to be that good, mediocre will suffice.

Texans > Redskins

I thought that game was over in the 3rd Quarter. WA wins, Houston goes home. Houston came back and topped it off with a 4th and 10 hail mary to win the game. Simply remarkable.

What's the criteria?

The most surprising victory? The most compelling game? Anyways, for the second week in a row I’m going with a Houston Texans game, the Redskins v. Texans. Texans overcame a 17 point deficit, went to overtime and won. Had about 1000 yards of passing offense in the game. The highlights were pretty amazing. The controversial icing of the kicker time out at the end. Compelling game.

Why is no one talking about the Bengals win?

They needed a win coming off the embarrassing loss to the Pats and they delivered and beat a damn good baltimore team.

True true…but they swept the Ravens last year too so I guess it didn’t seem like AS big of a deal to me as some of the other games. It WAS impressive though…
