What to expect from Anthony Toribio?
Hello guys it Tomahawk44 again from Arrowhead Pride. I am sure most of you know the Kansas City Chiefs have signed Anthony Toribio from the waiver wire. To tell you the truth I have never heard of him and I was wondering what you guys would be able to tell me about him and what will he bring to the Chiefs?
We are weak at the NT position so this was a position that needed to be addressed. Will Toribio be able to help?

Man everyone is stopping by to ask about our young cuts
Toribio is a good, stout NT. He didn’t really fit here because of Raji and PIckett. There really isn’t room for three NT. The Pack brought him in last year because of an injury to Pickett to cover depth for a last season push. He’s big and strong and can hold the middle. I wouldn’t expect him to cause a great push for pass rushing, but that’s not necessarily what you want a NT to do in this sort of system anyways.
I don't know about him as a NT in the 3-4
I liked him better in the 2009 preseason then this year. At 6’1" and 315 lbs. he’s a little light and short for a 3-4 NT and he’d be a better fit as a DE in the 3-4. He’s actually got a little pass rush in him, but I would expect his best position is as a DT in a 4-3 scheme.
Wasn't Toribio playing NT for us?
I thought that’s what McCarren was always walking about him. I may be thinking of someone else though.

Yes, he was our backup NT
Just given his size, he might be a better fit at DE.

I expect him to sign back with GB's practice squad when you guys cut him in 3 weeks.
BCB free since 8/24/10 and happier for it.
