Good Luck in Texas from a Niner fan

Well, if the Niners aren’t in the playoff picture, I always root for the best team in the NFC. This year, that’s the Packers. The Bears were lucky enough to surprise some teams but lacked consistency and the Falcons haven’t learned what level it takes to win in the playoffs yet but the Packers have paid their dues in recent playoffs, had some good drafts and are playing some very entertaining football on both sides of the ball. I’ll be rooting for you in Texas. What is that stupid towel-waving about anyway?

I have it on good authority, that the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Toons has reincarnated into the body of Clay Mathews. Makes me wonder what the Raiders were doing with Charles Woodson when he can perform at the level he’s at now. I’ve also noticed how every team that runs the 3-4 is comparing their coordinator to Dom Capers. As far as Aaron Rodgers is concerned, Brett who? (Or, as we call him over at Niner Nation “He who shall not be named”).

Before I forget, why haven't we heard from the league about a fine for Pepper's hit on Rodgers yet? It's not like they had a lot of games to review or everyone in the country didn't see it.

Win one for the NFC!

PS: We still have not forgiven you for outbidding us for Reggie White and bribing Mike Holmgren and Mike Montgomery away from our staff. We are currently reinventing ourselves but plan to revisit “The Good Olde Days” with past rivals in a year or so. Until then….
