An Open Letter to Ndamukong Suh
The Packers battle through a difficult first half to beat the Detroit Lions 27-15 on another of many unhappy Thanksgivings for Detroit football fans. Like is often the case with division rivalry games, things got a bit heated through out the game, with two players ejected. Lions fans got the short end of the stick when Ndamukong Suh found himself disqualified after this unsportsmanlike play:<iframe width="360" height="215" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8WZki4UB8jw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Here's an open letter to Ndamukong Suh:
No one fears you anymore, no is afraid of you, mostly because we all know that you'll beat yourself. Reggie White was a scary player, who was feared and double teamed until the end of his career. If you don't shape up, your career will be over before it starts, which is no big deal to most us. We'll forget who you are.
But if you as a person really want to be successful at this little game called football, you're going to have to grow in your head and filter that intensity to your play on the field, not in some stupid angry tantrum. At this point in your pro career you are a failure and a disappointment to your fans and yourself.
Pick yourself up, read a self help book or something, and stop being a piece of trash. We play and watch a sport, not a who is more of a bad ass competition, no one cares how bad ass you are if you're not playing by the rules and you're playing dirty. Shape up or ship out.

Who are you to talk for anyone besides yourself?
As long as I am at it. Why would you post this on the Packers sports blog instead of the Lions blog? Did you expect a better response here because you mentioned White?
Weak attempt at sucking up to Packers fans while transparently trying to get hits for your site.

I’m not a lions fan. I’m an annoyed Packer fan. I do write at my site, (or try to as much as possible) and sorry if I made you angry, people phrase things like that all the time.
If it would make you happy I could rephrase it “I think at this point you should be seen as a disappointment to your fans and yourself.”
Wasn’t trying to annoy or anger anyone, just super annoyed at Suh’s style and the way he continuously proves that he either needs to grow up or face stiff suspension penalties.

You don’t see other great players blowing their tops like this. He’ll learn.
I think unless he learns to control himself it’ll be what keeps him from being great. Better for us anyway if his tempers makes him fizzle out into the new Haynesworth.

Luv his game...
And it matters little to me who he goes off on (as long as its not Rodgers), but he is the leader of that team and for good or bad they follow his lead. Until he gets his head straight he won’t reach the level of play he is capable of, nor will his team! Gotta be smart, even in the heat of competition! Making himself and his team look bad right now!

Suuuuuuh-pid plays will kill you everytime...

Honestly, it was an accident…He accidentally banged EDS’s head into the turf several times. He accidentally stomped on EDS.

He was just trying to sack the QB….Was it really that Suh-pid of a play?

That dude has some serious issues.
There’s physical football, and then there’s what Suh does; I’m pretty sure tearing off the helmet is unnecessary, and f**king bush league (no offense, BLAS!).

Bears fan here...
I think Suh was just practicing some moves…and who are we to tell him when he can and can’t boogie?
Suh follows the "North Korea" template of media relations
Preferred method: Deny, deny, deny. Deny all accusations of wrongdoing, no matter how obvious evidence to the otherwise may be.
If preferred method is not working, invent a ludicrous excuse. While this does not allow for outright denial, it does allow you to avert any and all responsibility for what happened.

I'd like to say "thank you" to Suh
not only for handing us an easy TD instead of a field goal on that drive, demoralizing your team for a proper beatdown, and getting pancaked like a bitch by our backup right guard -
- but mainly for once again taking the spotlight off our win and 11-0 record with your idiotic antics. We go into your place and stomp you, and all the media attention is on you stomping EDS. I appreciate it, let me know where I can send the fruit basket, I’m sure you’ll have some time to snack over the next couple weeks.

Suh = Schwartz
Anyone think it’s merely a coincidence that Schwartz was defensive coordinator at Tenn. when Haynesworth stomped on someone’s head? Schwartz apparently teaches this stuff, or at the very least condones it.

Didn't think there was anything out of line about it..
Suh is feared as a player, too bad he lets himself get outside the rules so often, leading to his frequent personal foul penalties.
You've been Stroh'd™!!!
Yes, but sometimes it goes beyond simply personal foul penalties. It seems that he is trying to injure someone, which is despicable. You don’t try to take away the opponents livelihood. Grabbing a QB by the head and body-slamming him could be disastrous for the QB.
Matthews and Bishop both play hard and hit hard, But they aren’t trying to injure someone. The same goes for guys like Polamalu, Woodley, etc.
Suh was someone I was impressed with, but he’s moving down on my list. (Which I’m sure he’ll lose sleep over. :))

Wow...
You guys got me hoping we beat the Steelers in this year’s Super Bowl too. Really, I don’t think that’s asking too much…

The ultimate punishment for Ndamukong Suh would be for the NFL to tell him
he had to legally change his name to Joe Smith in order to play football again.
Napoli's 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th homers of the year (four more than Jeff Mathis' career total) rained down on Angel Stadium like knives from the ceiling.

Lost the little respect for Suh I had...
He’s a hothead who plays angry and can’t see the line of where you need to stop. His career will be derailed very early on unless he cleans things up. He and Schwartz are the perfect match and as long as they are together, they are going to prevent their team from greatness because they can’t separate their anger from the game.

Suh expected to get at least 2 games.
That is what I’m hearing this morning.
Given his past incidents.
I think 2 games should the minimum. I’m expecting 3…
You've been Stroh'd™!!!
I kind of want to rec Riddlah's comments, just so they don't screw up the flow of green

What we should do
Is recommend everything so it’s green, with the exceptions being Riddlah’s comments. That way, everyone could see the comments he’s made stand out.
