Report: Ndamukong Suh Suspended For Two Games
As first reported by Jay Glazer, Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh has been suspended for two games without pay for his stomping of Evan Dietrich-Smith's arm on Thanksgiving.
Suh will, if there is no appeal, miss the Lions' next two games, which are at New Orleans and at Detroit against the Vikings.
Suh has also been barred from any Lions practice facilities during the suspension. I will update this as details get added, in case there's an appeal. The suspension will cost Suh $164,000. The Lions are also expected to fine Suh $25,000 as well.

If he's allowed to appeal then those around him maintaining his public image have failed miserably.
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
I think he should have been suspended longer.
Look at what he did to Jake Delhomme in the preseason.

Yeah I think him appealing would hurt his image even more than that incident already has.
But then again, looking at the schedule it would kind of make sense… their hardest game left is arguably this week against the Saints with the next two being at least winnable with him out.

Exactly....
I’m sure he’s gonna appeal for that sole purpose.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Schwartz's idea either

Espn
Espn is running clips from the only other two defensive lineman to receive multiple game suspensions including ex-packer defensive lineman Charles Martin for his, ahem, questionably late hit on Jim McMahon and Albert Hanesworth’s disgusting display. Does anyone know if Kenny Stills ever got suspended for his hit on Matt Suhey? Its still probably the greatest non legal hit I have ever seen and very rarely does it ever get brought up. If you haven’t seen it check it out on youtube.

He already appealed
his case via a phone call on Sunday. How clueless is this guy to how things are and work especially in the office of Goodell.
I'm not saying I disagree with you...
But it does seem to be commonplace for every incident now-a-days.

He's trying to score points by saying he'll still miss time while waiting for the appeal...
I really hope they shoot it down

2 games
Is too few. Emotions got the best of him and I’m sure he didn’t wake up thursday morning wanting to kick a man while he was down BUT examples must be made to prevent this kind of behavior.

EDS may not have been injured
But the potential was there. There’s no place for that in the NFL. 2 games is too few.

I jope he appeals
and they decide they were too lenient. Double the suspension and make it 4 games like it should have been.

Blackhawks? Taking care of business as usual.

Very cool - but it's not gonna replace my persistent earworm when I read his full name

Has anyone considered the millions Suh has just lost in endorsements? Even Joe the Roofer wouldn’t hire him. Well, maybe wrestling.
2 Games?
I have major issues with this. First, I feel it should of been at least 4, reaching for 5 only because I don’t want to see him play the Packers this year. Haynesworth was given 5 games for stomping on the head of a player. Suh not only stomped on EDS but he also slammed his head into the ground repeatly.
Also, take past issues into account. How many personal fouls and fines has been given to the man?
A total of $42,500 by the league for three violations in the first year-and-a-half of his career. As of November 2011, he had been flagged for nine personal fouls in his first two years, the most of any player in the league in that time frame.
