Packers 31, Chargers 24 |
Chargers-Packers inactives - JSOnline. No big surprises for the Packers, the usual suspects of rookies and undrafted backups like House, Francois, Dominguez, Lattimore, and So'oto, along with Clifton and Neal (as usual). Five starters out for the Chargers, which isn't going to help them pull off the upset.

Well, can't argue with those results.
Hope someone doesn’t catch it on the fly if we try it again, though.
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
So'oto inactive...
I guess you gotta go with zombo
typical slow start by the defense

We need to have good play in the middle of the line on defense today.
Some big backs in there.

This seems so familiar.
Team gets good first drive on us. Then we start to settle down. By the second half our defense generally figures shit out.
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
Usually
We SD don’t score on first drive. This season we hardly get first down on them

Also tougher to catch the ball / not fumble
which could mean some dropped INTs by our DBs.
Nice play on that squib kick Cobb
Let’s get a TD
Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?
You had to figure San Diego would be charged up for this one.
I’m not sure if giving them the ball to start was a good idea.
also MM needs to stop deferring on the road

+1
i like getting the ball to start the second half… but I agree. we need to jump on them first and get them doubting their raison d’etre.
funny thing happened this week.
i enched rivers on my ff team becuase i can’t ever root for a QB against the packers. so I played fitzgerald. he got me 10 points. . . rivers already has 6.
I haven't benched Rivers yet. I'm 1-6-1.
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
The one week...
I benched Stafford over Rivers, I lost my fantasy matchup. If I had started Stafford, I would have won.
Good times never seemed so good!
I hope Rivers loses me my game today.

Have you guys seen bad officiating at other games this season?
In SD we’ve been complaining for 3 games now
when we are losing...
the officiating is bad…
When we are winning, we think it’s good…
and since we’re 7-0….
I personally, don't think the officiating is bad very often.
The one game I can think of is the Atlanta game. Triplett has always been my least favorite ref, though.
Then before that the only other game that comes to mind is the 18 penalty game against CHI.
A couple early for us, but yeah...we've been on the good end of a couple of questionable calls this game.
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
Rodgers is sitting in the pocket and holding onto the ball like it's 2009

And THAT's why MM deferred...
…now it’s all about sharpening the dagger at halftime…
Packers get the ball to start second half, wouldn't expect that to last long
when life gives you melons, you might be dyslexic...
You guys are playing well...
Gettings lots of pressure on Rodgers…more than I’ve seen all year, I think…
And your secondary is holding up against our studs pretty well.
this has to be Rodgers lowest passing years at half all year, 97 yards
Doesn't help that the Chargers got 3 straight possessions without Rodgers seeing the field!
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!

exactly, he's still great, and easily the best QB on this field today
but he’s holding onto the ball too long while standing still in the pocket and it’s costed us three sacks… Like I said, he looks more like 2009 Rodgers today than 2011 Rodgers
