Cobb, Kuhn & Grant: Ternion Powerhouse to Play Key Role in December

Seemingly every week, Aaron Rodgers sporadically finds a new red-zone target and now faces his first real challenge to stay fluent with a significant offensive void. Undoubtedly, the injury to Greg Jennings knee in Sunday's romp over the Raiders could prove to be detrimental to the Packers' run at a perfect 19-0 season. In the remaining three games of the regular season, Rodgers' will most definitely miss his most targeted receiver, who has caught his attention more than one hundred occasions this season. This is a quarterback however, who puts the ball where it needs to be regardless of the number on the jersey he's throwing to, so Green Bay's offense should continue to be sharp towards the end of the regular season. Ryan Grant's actual value these days is questionable but against a team that has allowed 1,723 rushing yards, there should be no reason he should not double his touchdown total from two to four with a decent performance in Kansas City. Optimistically speaking, if he carries the ball as often as fifteen times, he would be of course providing a huge service to the team by giving Aaron Rodgers' arm a much-needed rest. By utilizing Randall Cobb in the passing game and efficiently running the run-pass options for short gains via John Kuhn, there should be little difficulty compensating for the loss of Jennings, thus keeping the trend of moving the ball against lopsided defenses.

Multiple choice:

A. The excrement of the arctic tern — very rare because the vast majority of ternions drop into the ocean.
B. An exotic vegetable hybrid that results from an onion having sex with Terrell Owens. That was the real source of his famous tear-filled interview.
C. A triad or set of three.

I can see Cobb being our "new toy" for the playoffs

last year, it seemed like Jordy Nelson was the guy that emerged when teams took away our other options. Doesn’t Cobb seem like it could be him this year. He has homerun ability and has pretty decent hands. Send him deep a couple of times in a 3 or 4 WR set? I could see him getting some nice opportunities.

Maybe with Jennings out for the remainder of the regular season now is a good time to get him some targets and see if he’s up to the task.

Yeah that is a great point. I think it was looking like it was going to be Saine until the concussion showed up, now who knows. I liked what he added as a check down and screen option which is something we really have lacked this year (IMO)

The Green Bay Packers...Putting bad coaches out of their misery since 2010

I believe Randall will most definitely get more than a few attempts to prove himself as a meritorious replacement for number 85. He is an extremely versatile player who is in the midst of an impressive rookie season- with the exception of a few fumbles. With such depth in the receiving department, they do not have to use a player who continues to turnover the ball and drop passes however, I trust Cobb will hang on to the ball from here on out. He knows as well as anybody, the last two seasons have consisted of the Packers: using any expedient necessary to battle injuries, continuing to win and being recognized as one of the greatest teams of all time.

Great picture, btw.

A samurai sword collection. If you can do it. I don’t know if you’re allowed.
