I think his point in doing that...

is to get the ball out of there quick. We all know that Rodgers flaw is that he will hold the ball longer than he should, so it may look like he is trying to call long developing plays.

Idk, plausible?

by sheehan on Dec 18, 2011 3:13 PM CST up reply actions

Not really

At least not how i see it. Sure, the D should have made more stops, and more than the two punts, but the O could have helped. We kept them out of the red-zone except on their last scoring drive. Fact is they gave up 19 points, and thats it. They had stops in the red-zone 3 times. If the offense kept some drives going, and got more than 6 plays per series, the defense could have gotten a breather. I bet they were exhausted being on the field so long.

When we hold a team to 19 points, we should win every time.

Worst game he has played. To often looked for the big play instead of taking what the defense gave us. His throws were way off today. Unlike the Chiefs. Defense played well considering they held them to FG’s most of the game. No sustained drives by the offense made for a long day on defense.

Just like Denver in 1998 ...

lost to an 5-8 team and then marched towards a Super Bowl win.

The Saints went 13-0 and lost to Dallas and won the Super Bowl.

The Packers will do the same. Practice won’t be fun, but everybody will benefit from it.

I dont mind them being able to run us to death

But all those play actions and huge gains are killers. We need to eliminate the big plays and force them to execute down the length of the field.

This is a disappointing end to the undefeated season

but at least this wasn’t the Super Bowl. Small mercies, I know, but we’re still very much in contention for the SB.

1 game at a time mentality

now becomes more critical than ever with a banged up Chicago team on the horizon.

Everyone relax

Rodgers didn’t play well, defense gave up some plays, but I find its more important to win the Superbowl than go undefeated…the season is not over folks. Just gotta move on and lock homefield advantage….injuries do take a toll too….

I didn't get to see the game

So I don’t know if it was more a matter of the Packers playing sloppy or the Chiefs playing well. But regarding the actual loss, I can’t say I’m that upset about it. It’s hard to be upset when we’re sitting at 13-1, and frankly I think it’s better to avoid the added pressure of a perfect season.

It was a byproduct of

the Chiefs playing very well and the Packer offense playing atrociously.

Eff, no!

Don’t want Saints to get the #2!

GB won’t lose the #1 seed no matter if the Niners win or not.

I don't know SF is very similar to KC

That said we should be ok if we get ourselves healthy and don’t lose focus
