Falcons Fan Has A Question!
Hi, sorry for intruding APC but I have a question. I'm aware you all already clinched everything you needed and have nothing to gain in Week 17, you all really arent affected by this game. But if you were not aware, our team is. The falcons are currently the 6th seed and if the season ended today we will have to face the Saints at their home. We are all aware what happened last time and it won't be fun now. But, in your division the Lions are 5th and get to easily play the 6th seed NFC East winner. I believe we deserve that spot more for our harder schedule. After our loss, I looked at the Lions Schedule and said thank god for GB! My happiness was sadly killed with the fact that you all have nothing to gain but so much to lose. I know, and so do my fellow fans, that you all will most likely bench Rodgers for most of the game. About your WR, RB, OL, Etc. I am not aware of though I'm sure most will get a decent amount of time. My question is, Is your back-up QB and your talented offence plus some time with A-Rod (Hopefully) be enough to win? And can your defense stop Stafford enough for the O to keep up with them? Thanks for reading, and please be thorough with your answers.

We nearly beat the Pats (at their place) with Flynn starting
I think Matt Flynn is good enough to lead us to a win, but I think it depends alot on who else sits/plays. If Clay and Woodson both sit like we expect, the Lions probably will score alot of points and move the ball with ease. Hopefully Flynn can keep moving the ball and scoring points and the defense can get a few turnovers like it usually does.
I think it should be a good game, but if Rodgers, Clay, and Woodson all don’t play and a few other key guy only play the 1st half, we probably will lose in a close one, but we’ve seen the Lions fail and underacheive at times so I wouldn’t count us out.
Montee Ball didn't win the Heisman. F__ everybody.
Tajh Boyd and Dre' Ellington are the future.
I'm not expecting a Packers win
but I do expect a competitive game. Who knows, anything could happen.

We played the cards, we gameplanned, went all out, and beat the shit out of the Cards, who just ran simple formations. Our D gave up over 50 points the next week to them in the playoffs.
I doubt we do anything normal in this game. I expect us to take this like a 4th preseason game.

[In the 2009 Packers@Cardinals playoff game] Our D gave up over 50 points the next week to them in the playoffs.
You can’t blame those last 6 points on the D. Also, the offense wasn’t doing the D any favors early in the game, either. Thanks to a pick and lost fumble on the first two drives, the Cards had short fields (40 and 22 yards) for their first two touchdowns.

The coaches haven't said
But the beat writers seem to be expecting to see all the big names on the sidelines. The Lions have a lot to play for and the Packers don’t. However Matt Flynn will probably have a lot to prove in this game too (his next free agent contract), and he’ll get to play with almost the entire starting offense. Basically the same starters that Rodgers would play with because Jennings and Starks are out hurt. If the defense can force a couple turnover, and Flynn takes care of the ball, this could be a close game the Packers could win.

And Cobb and Bulaga and likely Finley! He’s not going to have the 2 best playmakers, best OL, best RB… He’s going to be down alot of weapons. If he can win w/ the cast he has it will be a MAJOR accomplishment!
Our Biggest Challenge is how we deal w/ Success!
The division winners are the top four seeds.
the 6th seed NFC East winner
the 6th seed is the second wild card.
The 5th seed will play the 4th seed NFC East winner. :)

Nope, we are probably losing man...
But I WANT you guys to play the Saints. They say one of the hardest things in the NFL is to beat the same team three times in one year. I think you guys can give the Saints a run for their money next time around.
Looking forward to the Packers three-peating and visiting President Ron Paul at the White House in 2013
they've only played the Saints once this year...
so I’m not sure what you’re talking about with the beating a team three times in a season

I was talking about Atlanta
lost to NO 26-23 and then lost 45-16. If they play them in PO, it would be 3rd game.

ohhhh, true.
well they won’t, so we don’t have to find out.

I wonder.....
what they say the chances are of beating a team FOUR times in the same year? Ask Chicago how it went…….

We'll probably bench most of our guys and lose
and use paragraph breaks next time.

I sure hope that's Flynn he's referring to.

Keep that on your blog.
Packers: Working on a dynasty.
Blackhawks: Taking care of business as usual.
Badgers: Chin up, boys.
Brewers: Move along, nothin' to see here.
It probably would have been better for them to go to NO, realistically
The Falcons are much better in a dome.

F that. He said it we are all big boys, now he should eat his words. I guess the NFC east winner isn’t such an easy win. His line should have read, the East winner will easily advance past the dreadful Falcons or Lions.
