Nnamdi Asomugha what are the chances?

Speculation is high that Oakland will not re-sign Nnamdi Asomugha since they just gave Richard Seymour a big contract. It is also well known that Nnamdi and Charles Woodson got along well in Oakland and that C-Wood was somewhat a mentor for the young corner.

Some questions immediately come to mind for the World Champs. First, would it make sense for the Packers to pursue Nnamdi? The Packers just extended Tramon Williams. Would a big contract to a player outside the organization upset the chemistry? Would a big contract to another corner be too much to spend on that position? Would Ted Thompson even consider pursuing this player?

A secondary featuring Williams, Asomugha, Shields, Woodson, and Collins would be very tough to beat through the air.

What do you think?
