First, a greeting to all the wonderful Packer backers (and occasional visiting haters) here on APC! I've been visiting this site for quite some time to follow the news on my favorite team, although I only just joined SBN recently (figured it was time to start leaving some of my own comments).
A recent video posted on the Packers' website piqued my interest enough to make my first ever FanPost(my apologies if this first effort is a bit clumsy). The video, originally from NFL Network with super-awesome guest host Greg Jennings, is about the top 10 Packers of all time. The Packers have a history as rich as any other team in the NFL, chock full of legends, so debating whom should be included on the list and in what order is certain to be lively.
If you haven't had a chance to see the video, it can be seen here. Overall, I think it's a pretty good list. Number one on the list is dead on without question, and I think the 10 people included on the list are probably correct as well. The only real problem I have with the list is that I think Favre is too high. He DEFINITELY shouldn't be ranked ahead of Bart Starr. IMHO Favre deserves a spot on the list, but I think a more appropriate ranking would be somewhere in the 6-to-8 range.
What does everyone think? Any egregious errors as far as positioning goes? Any names left off that you think deserve a spot on the list? I look forward to the discussion and thanks for putting up with my first FanPost!
