Congratulations to The Green Bay Packers and their fans.....

As a Bears fan, nothing aches more than watching the hated Pack clinch the Lombardi after outlasting My Beloved Bears for the Halas........unless, of course, the Packers are playing Ben Roethlisberger, then it's all good.

In all seriousness, though, the Packers earned their ring, and so did their fans.  The Packers dealt with a plague of injuries. They had to fight through a mid-season slump.  They overcame being forced to win in week 17 against the division champion, who actually decides to play the game even with nothing on the line for the Bears, just to make the playoffs.  Then classless reporters questioning the character of your classy QB (Oh, the irony.  Isn't that kinda like Mao questioning Mother Teresa's humanitarianism?), having to win 3 playoff games on the road, and having to fight to maintain a lead in the Super Bowl against the best scoring defense in the league without your clutch veteran WR and fighting to stop one of the most clutch offenses of the past decade without your defensive captain.  And they did it all!

Helmets off to the Green Bay Packers and their fans!

Star-divide

Oh, and an additional thumbs up for the class Green Bay fans showed towards Cutler after the NFC Championship Game.  It amazed me that our biggest rivals were the first fans and players we saw step up and throw the Bulls**t card when people started questioning Cutler's toughness.  Bitter rivals......but with much respect.

Enjoy your crown!  You earned it!..............But be ready because we are coming for it next year!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing the love

This year I’ve come to a deeper appreciation of the special relationship we Packer and Bears fan share. This really is an old, deep rivarly that has emotional connections but still is built on respect.
