Aaron Rodgers Goes To Disney World

I know it's traditional for the Super Bowl winning quarterback to go to Walt Disney World. But if I was QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, it's the last thing I'd want to do. Aside from all the things I could be doing to celebrate instead, I'd rather go home with my teammates.

I know the NFL, and especially the Super Bowl, is a made for television marketing event, but I still think he's being a good sport about all of it. Maybe the adrenaline hasn't worn off yet, and willing to do anything as long as he's still riding that high.

I don't know

If I was just named Super Bowl MVP, I think I’d be willing to do pretty much anything the NFL told me too.

Super Bowl MVP

It’s the Super Bowl MVP, not the winning QB. (Although the two overlap frequently)

I am not sure if it is a tradition, or more of a paid arrangement with the NFL and Disney. A quick search online didn’t find much, but have a suspiction that the Super Bowl MVP is obligated to both announce that he is going to Disney World, as well as do the parade thing the next day.

I wonder what Aaron thinks about the Z28.

I never understood giving a car to the MVP

I realize it’s marketing, but there could be better uses for the car. If ARod wanted to, he could buy a bunch of them, just like that.

It is not a Z28, probably a 2SS with the RS package.

AR will probably sell it to pay for new Green and Gold custom leather interior for his Bentley with Super Bowl MVP insignias on the seat backs.

Does that mean he won't be at the Lambeau Field celebration tonight?

Because if so, he should have told the mouse to shove it.

I was surprised he didn't return to Green Bay before going to Disney World

After all, he didn’t spend much of his Post Superbowl celebrations with his teammates, instead he spent a lot of the time with his family. I certainly respect his decision and his family first approach, but I’m surprised he wouldn’t return to Green Bay to celebrate with his teammates. Afterall, Rodgers is a part of this team. Oh well, as mentioned by Puddleglumed, it could have been prearranged by the NFL where Rodgers was obligated to fly directly to Disney World. IDK though…
