Championship Celebration

I'm currently watching it on ESPN3.com... wish I was there.  I think it says a lot about the Green Bay Packers fan base that they can essentially sell out the stadium (I'm not sure if they full did or not) at $5 a ticket just to have people watch some football players and front office people walk on the field and say a few words.

I like the fact that they did this instead of a parade, parades always seemed so stupid to me.  But I hope they send the money from this to charity or something cause that's roughly $300,000 and I don't see why else they'd need to make people pay.  Does anyone know what they're doing with that?  Did they end up charging for those tickets?

Anyway, watching Coach McCarthy walk out with the Lombardi Trophy and then letting the fans touch it was pretty unreal.

I'm just happy they let the I.R. guys participate
