I would prefer that EA Sports find someone other than Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers for the Madden 2012 cover, but he has advanced to the second round in their voting. It's also further proof that sometimes No. 1 seeds can survive their bracket. (C'mon Kansas! VCU? Seriously?)

We discussed the Madden Curse last week, with a fairly decent split in opinion. Over at Bay Area SB Nation, they too are concerned about their former college QB from Cal showing up on the cover. I probably shouldn't be worried about the curse since Rodgers has proven he can handle any type of pressure.
