ARLINGTON TX - FEBRUARY 06: James Jones #89 of the Green Bay Packers tries to avoid the tackle of LaMarr Woodley #56 and Ike Taylor #24 of the Pittsburgh Steelers and during Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium on February 6 2011 in Arlington Texas. (Photo by Doug Pensinger/Getty Images)
WR James Jones was asked about his future with the Green Bay Packers. Jones said, "I do want to be a starter. I don't know if that's ever going to happen here." My question is whether he should become one.
He's got all the skill to become a starting receiver, but his inconsistency drives me crazy. The other wide receivers on the Packers are no strangers to the occasional dropped ball, but Jones had some of the biggest drops of the season. He just completed his fourth NFL season, so I don't know how much more time he needs.
