Since I'm not a fan of Auburn QB Cam Newton, I'm a little disheartened to see him at No. 1 for the Carolina Panthers in the latest 2011 NFL Mock Draft from SB Nation. Not that QB Jimmy Clausen is the answer to any quarterback question, but I don't see how Newton is either. Maybe he'll prove me wrong but I haven't seen the accuracy and decisiveness he needs to run an NFL offense.

For the Green Bay Packers, SB Nation selected Texas CB Aaron Williams:

32. Green Bay Packers: Aaron Williams, CB, Texas. While the focus has become a running mate for Clay Matthews, an offensive lineman or a defensive end with this pick, cornerback depth and longevity remains a problem. Williams is the type of physical press player that would excel for Dom Capers.

I've written about Williams before, and I don't think he'd be a good fit with the Packers defense.
