Revenge of the Birds mock draft.

OK, so I'm participating in the ROTB's (Cards) mock draft...  The Steelers are on the clock and tomorrow nite I have to submit my pick for the Packers.  THis is what we are looking at.

Star-divide

3 players of interest are left.  Prior to knowing which direction the Steelers go...

Gabe Carimi

Muhammad Wilkerson

Akeem Ayers

http://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2011/4/9/2100791/draft-prospect-3

One note, the drafter for Chicago didn't get his pick in on time and Paea was chosen for him.  His pick when it came in was actually Carimi.  I'm tempted to not take Carimi just becuz in reality he wouldn't be available.  I've tried to get the moderator to change the pick from Paea to Carime, but he hasn't.  I feel like taking Carimi is kinda a waste cuz of it...

Anyone that quotes Charlie Sheen...

should be dumped in a vat of cocaine and forced to find their way out by smell.

It's unlikely, but he still fell anyways

I think you pretty much have to get Carimi. You can’t pass on him just because he’s unlikely to be there in reality. Carimi is the BPA, so go with him. In order:
1. Carimi
2. Wilkerson
3. Anybody but Ayers. LOL!

Superbowl Champs Baby!!!!!

13 World Championships, soon to be 14 after next season...GUARANTEED!!!!!

And with the 32nd pick in the NFL draft the Green Bay Packers select:

Muhammad Wilkerson is a 6’4 315 lb DE from Temple. The choice came down to Akeem Ayers and Wilkerson. The final choice was made based on the overall talent level of Wilkerson being higher than Ayers. Both play positions that the Packers could be looking to upgrade in this draft. Wilkerson is ideally suited to play LDE in the Packers 34 D. He has tremendous size, length, strength and athletic ability and just needs some time to develop. In GB, he’ll get exactly that… He’ll have at least a year to learn the nuances of the Packers schemes while interning under Ryan Pickett. Many of the draft experts think Wilkerson has as much or more upside as any of the 34 DE in this draft class. He plays w/ power vs both the run and pass and will be able to hold up against the double teams he’ll face on a regular basis. In pass rush, Wilkerson will have the opportunity to contribute early in a rotation (along w/ BJ Raji and Mike Neal) as an inside rusher in Capers 2-4-5 nickel package. He has the type of game to give OG problems when pass rushing inside. When looking at film of Wilkerson he made a habit of living in the oppositions backfield. Wlikerson along with Dareus, Watt and Cam Jordan are the 34 DE’s in this draft who have the ability to actually be playmakers at a position that usually is manned by space eaters. GB is in a position where it can draft the best player regardless of position, and Wilkerson is just that at #32. THe Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers welcome Muhammad Wilkerson to the Packer family!
