Packers Second Round Possibility: Denarius Moore

Stay connected for news and updates

Evan Silva at Pro Football Talk put together a second round mock draft. He has a run on wide receivers at the end of the round, and he has the Green Bay Packers selecting Tennessee WR Denarius Moore. From PFT:

Moore has flown under the radar among draftniks, but has some Santonio Holmes to his game. A silky smooth deep threat, Moore averaged a ridiculous 20.9 yards per catch with nine touchdowns as a senior. Moore is also a former track star and could help right away on kickoff returns.

I had never heard of Moore until Silva mentioned him, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them use a high draft pick on a wide receiver. WR Greg Jennings and WR Jordy Nelson are locked in, but WR Donald Driver might be breaking down, and I don't know if they'll re-sign free agent WR James Jones. Keeping the position well stocked is important going forward.
