When Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was talking earlier about reloading for 2011, I think he's really looking forward to getting two of his top receivers, TE Jermichael Finley and WR Donald Driver, back and healthy next season. While Driver wasn't in the same boat as Finley, who missed all but 4 games, Driver was pulled out of a couple games last season, including the Super Bowl, and had to have been slowed down all season as he played through various injuries.
Just as much as Rodgers is looking forward to seeing them on the field, Finley is certainly looking forward to his return too. From Madison.com:
"I’m ready to play some ball and get the Pack back to the Super Bowl," Finley said. "We will be in Indianapolis."
Finley and teammate Donald Driver were in Madison for the fourth annual Green & Gold Training Camp — an event sponsored by Physicians Plus that is designed to promote active lifestyles among children — but football wasn’t far from either player’s mind.
"Me being out since Week 5, I’m ready to go," said Finley, whose 2010 season was cut short thanks to a knee injury sustained against the Washington Redskins Oct. 10.
