The Green Bay Packers organization has shown patience with guys like WR Koren Robinson and DE Johnny Jolly, so I don't think the misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges, to which Brandon Underwood pleaded not guilty, will make them want to release him. From the Press-Gazette:
The Packers organization is aware of the incident, but officials have declined comment.
Underwood said he has been dealing with family issues after his older brother was recently injured in an accident involving a city bus in Columbus, Ohio.
While he shouldn't worry too much about the charges, if he doesn't play better this training camp, he's not going to stay with the team. Unfortunately for him, the trial is scheduled after the start of the season in September.
