Via JS Online is the report from NFL Network that the Green Bay Packers will open training camp on Friday, July 29.
For those that are interested, they opened training camp on Saturday, July 31 last season. JS Online said the first practice won't be held until Monday, August 1, so they are getting back on the field one day later this season.
In the end, all the angst over the lockout was only about missed organized team activities, missed offseason workouts, a lot of missed time for rookies, and a soon to be crazed free agent period. Only one preseason game has been cancelled.
