Green Bay Packers CB Brandon Underwood appeared in court on Wednesday, alongside his estranged wife, Brandie. The matter stems from a misdemeanor charge that was first reported earlier this week. From the Press-Gazette:

"I told police I did not want them to arrest him. He’s never harmed me in any way, shape or form" Brandie Underwood said of the alleged incident on June 16, the night the Packers were awarded their Super Bowl rings in a ceremony in the Lambeau Field Atrium.

Police, however, reported that Brandie Underwood told them her husband broke a necklace the team gave to her, dragged her from a car and threw her to the ground in the driveway of the couple’s home on the west side of Green Bay.

What's really going on here? I have no idea, but it's just not a good situation.
