Zombo played with broken shoulder blade..

Ouch.  The injury bug has bitten Frank Zombo.  Press Gazette reporting that Frank Zombo broke his shoulder blade prior to Fridays game, then played with it.  It seemed to be one of the deeper spots on the Packer roster, but is it time to try and pick up a free agent?  I don't know what is out there at the moment, but the injury has to be a concern.  Any ideas on possible free agent pickups?

I don't think there's anyone left,

We missed Stylez White by about an hour to the Vikings (he signed an hour ago), he perhaps isn’t the perfect fit for 3-4 OLB (better for 4-3 DE like in TB) at 270 lbs but deserved a look, 24 sacks in 4 seasons.

Tully banta-Cain? He’s 30 which isn’t too old I guess, and he had 4.5 sacks last yr in NE’s 3-4 base. he had 10 sacks the year before. He wouldn’t be as cheap as some other players but could perhaps be more productive in our base D.

If we’re just looking for some depth playrs, there are some young guys out there. I’m using NFL.com FreeAgencyTracker, just click By Position and OLBs statr on p. 17.

I've always wondered if he's actually 5'9".

No on TBC

3-4 experience he may have, but he’s the ultimate situational pass rusher; he ONLY shows up against absolutely awful teams.

In a word,
but is it time to try and pick up a free agent?

No.
