How's everyone doing? This is my first time posting on this site, but I've been a fan of the pack since Sterling Sharpe days, and I've become a big fan of this site and the posts. My question is this: How do the packer fan base feel about Johnny Jolly possibly coming back? I know that Green Bay is an organization that puts a lot of emphasis on character, which is one of the things that I love and respect about this team. If I'm not mistaken, Jolly's been in trouble twice now with his unfortunate off-field issues. Bringing him back would open TT to all kind of criticism; I can hear people saying that he's back-sliding on his principles already.
<BUT>
As much as I love how Mike Neal played in his limited time on the field last year, he remains a bit of an injury concern. I also thought C.J. Wilson provided some good play when he was injected into the mix. Depth is something I'm concerned about, and I personally think that Jolly prior to his troubles was one of our absolute best lineman. TT could be sending the message that the Packers can be a forgiving organization by allowing him an opportunity to make the team, pending his reinstatement, ofcourse. Yes/No? I don't know, but I think there is a possible debate to be had on this subject. Let me know how you think. It's just nice to be talking to fellow packer fans; I'm currently stationed (I'm in the Coast Guard) right in the heart of Eagles country, and to say that I'm slowly being driven crazy with all of this "Philadelphia Heat" noise would be an understatement.
