When I was getting ready to write this post for the Green Bay Packers recipient for the game ball of the week, I knew that CB Charles Woodson was going to be my choice. His receipt of over 80% of the votes in our post-game poll confirmed it.
The stats don't include a fumble recovery too. The most impressive INT was early in the third quarter, when he followed WR Steve Smith all the way across the field, and made a play on the ball in the air to grab the INT with his fingertips. QB Cam Newton could have thrown the ball sooner, and he could have thrown it further ahead of Smith, but it was a good pass. Woodson just made a great play on it.
