Pro Football Focus: Packers Over Bears, Lions Over Vikings

Pro Football Focus has a weekly series where they "re-focused" the previous week's games, and point out some players who played well (and other who didn't). With the NFC North teams scheduled against one another, it was a week with a little more importance at deciding the eventual division champ than a typical weekend.

Re-Focused - Packers @ Bears, Week 3 | ProFootballFocus.com. They liked what they saw from TE Jermichael Finley and LB Clay Matthews, while wondering (along with the rest of us) where that awful version of James Starks came from. It's only one bad game, and I'd be shocked if he didn't rebound quickly. On the other side of the field, they were unimpressed with the Bears offensive line and saw a unit still in need of an upgrade. While three of their lineman graded poorly, the Bears are going to have to find a replacement for LG Chris Williams sooner than later if he continues to play that bad.

Re-Focused - Lions @ Vikings, Week 3 | ProFootballFocus.com. The Lions have a few good players, but that game really showed the value of WR Calvin Johnson. He's far and away their best big play weapon, but the added defensive attention doesn't stop him. His two touchdown receptions were the scores that got them back in the game.
