Saints at Packers: Pre-Game Injury Report
The biggest injury to report for either team is that WR Lance Moore is out for the Saints with a groin injury. The Times-Picayune calls him their "second-most reliable target" with WR Marques Colston as their No. 1. They have a deep receiving corps with Robert Meacham and Devery Henderson able to replace him, but with backup WR Adrian Arrington questionable with a knee injury, their receiver depth is very thin at the moment.
Saints K Garrett Hartley is also out, but as a stopgap they signed very old K John Kasay. Backup DT Tom Johnson is also questionable.
For the Green Bay Packers, their website lists three players as out (CB Davon House, LB Vic So'oto, and LB Frank Zombo). With 10 linebackers on the active roster, they have no problem with depth at that position, but I'd have liked to seen what So'oto could have done in a regular season game. It doesn't feel like House will ever be healthy.
DE Mike Neal is listed as questionable, which means it's 50/50 he'll play, but I'm pessimistic. He's free to prove me wrong. DE Jarius Wynn and DE C.J. Wilson might not be as talented, but they'll bring some hustle.
Everyone else on the roster should be available to play. The complete injury report for the Packers is after the jump.

The TV guide says there's a new Dr. Phil on tonight at 8!
Can’t wait!
I already told you! I deal with the god damn receivers so the linebackers don’t have to! I have coverage skills; I’m good at covering people! Can’t you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?!
BIG BROTHER!!
I hear this week should be a thriller, glad there’s nothing else on so I can grab a few beers and some pizza and watch it with my boys.
The Green Bay Packers...Putting bad coaches out of their misery since 2010
I have an even better question
Who is starting at RB, and who has the most upside? Is Ryan Grant going to be a workhorse, and does he have the skills pre-injury that will make him another 1,200 (hell, even 1,000) yard back? Or will James Starks probably get the lion’s share and prove to be the biggest story tonight?
Gonna take a fortnight at least to get this herd down to St. Louis on Mississippi. This glen's gonna be tough to traverse, and that river's got to be 50, 60 meters wide. And God knows how many fathoms. To hell with parliamentary procedure. We've got to wrangle up some cattles!
IMO
In the long run Starks will end up being the more heavily used RB. Start our equal or slightly in Grants favor, but during the course of the season, Starks will win the lions share of carries, not too mention he will also be catching his share of passes. Grants a poor reciever… Neither one is likely for 1000 yds this year unless the other is injured.
You've been Stroh'd™!!!
I think they'll be splitting it more or less throughout the season.
With whoever has the hotter hand on a given day getting the majority.
I don't know
There’s been a lot of talk about James Starks splitting time with Ryan Grant, but I’ll see it when I believe it. Maybe it’s true, or maybe they’ll just stick with Ryan Grant as they did in 2008-2009. Then James Starks will get the 80 or so carries that used to go to Brandon Jackson. I’ve just been waiting to see what they do for the start of the season.
I have a hunch that McCarthy might go with the hot hand and give more carries to Starks or Grant depending how it seems to him during the game. But I have no proof to back that up.
Hunch
I kinda have a hunch that McCarthy might have used Grant more in the preseason to throw teams off. Wouldn’t surprise me if he starts Starks and that the limited preseason snaps for Starks was a smokescreen. Just sayin…

Donald Driver is listed on the injury report as probably. Driver suffered a mild broken heart after a poorly thought out attack on his ability to play in 2011. He expects to fully recover and give his nay-sayers the BIRD!

Driver will play well as long as seniors are allowed to drive
He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is
Brandon, you seem almost angry about House

The injury thing has gone from heart-breaking to annoying...
to now just downright anger-inducing.
I’m tired of it too.

The guy has been with the team for two months......training camp and four pre-season games.....
It’s a little early to start giving him the Justin Harrell treatement…
Angelo: Right….so anyways Jay, I’m sure you understand that we needed to make this move and I wanna wish you the best of luck.
Cutler: (Swoops bangs out of eyes by throwing his head back) Whatever, I don’t need this team or you.
/Leaves in a huff
//Writes bad poetry on his blog
Grossman: What the fuck is Wilford Brimley’s problem?
*treatment

Not him specifically...
injury thing in general. Tired of seeing it. We deserve a healthy year, dammit!

Should I start Grant on my fantasy team at Flex position ?
