The Bears and Tim Ruskell Go Their Separate Ways
Breaking: Tim Ruskell Out as Chicago Bears Director of Player Personnel - Windy City Gridiron. Following up on my early post about the Chicago Bears new GM, they've also parted ways with the guy they hired from Seattle a couple years ago who was supposed to take over for GM Jerry Angelo some day.
The Bears have gotten little from the draft over the past few years. Some good role players but no big time playmakers. Gutting the front office was a step they needed to take if they wanted to get back on top and keep pace with the Lions and the Packers and their staple of talented young players.

Good news for Bears fans?
I read posts on other sites regarding Ruskell. Many in Chicago figured he’d be elevated as GM, the thought of which made many Bears fans angry. Obviously that didn’t happen, and I think his outright departure from the team will make some Bears fans dance. Whether or not that is bad news for the rest of the NFC North depends on who replaces him.
Also, guys, please fix the grammar error in the headline. Thanks.
