If you're going to post a picture that might be considered Not Safe For Work in any way, shape, or form, post a link to it instead of embedding it in the comment. That way, nobody gets in trouble.
Please remember that any time you spend on the APCOT's is entirely voluntary. Nobody is forcing you to be here.
If you were one of the people who rec'd the previous open thread to move it to the Recommended FanPosts section, please go back to that previous thread now and un-rec it. That way, the previous thread will move out of that section, and these won't be cluttering APC as much.

Here in Northern Virginia....
I can’t go anywhere without seeing Green Bay Packer fans. I knew they were out there, but why did it take a Super Bowl win and a nearly perfect season to have them crawl out of the wood work? Where was the pride before this season? My Packer license plate cover is all rusty and needs replacing, but I’m hesitant to do it because I don’t want to appear to be a bandwagon fan. (The rust proves that it’s been on my car for a while.) When you don’t live in the state where your team originates, it takes some guts to show your long distance allegiance. Should i just suck it up and be happy there are so many fans out there, or do I have a legit complaint?
(My bitterness may be driven by the fact that it is lunch time and I’m hungry.)

Granted, the Packers already have a huge fanbase as is, but yeah.

Four years ago, the biggest crowd we ever had the bar was 22 people.
Last year, we maxed out over 150. Even for the Lions game on New Year’s Day (where people were too hungover or still traveling or whatever), we had several dozen.

It’s one of the many perks of being a Packer fan – our players live next door to their fans. They learn really, really quickly about the consequences of not being neighborly. Conversely, we tend to treat our players to maybe more respect than they deserve for the same reasons – it’s hard to hate on a dude when you’ve seen him wheeling his trash out to the curb on Tuesday mornings.
We’re critical and we often have good reasons for being so, but the number of times where a GB fan will rip a dude on his Twitter after a loss are far, far fewer than in a larger, less-connected fanbase.

What am I supposed to do for next week, focus on the teams’ postseason history? I know of a video of the 1961 NFL Championship on YouTube (but it’s over two hours long), but that’s it, and given the incomplete status of the video of Super Bowl I in the Paley Center in New York, I don’t really know if I should even link to it. I don’t have the time to watch this video in its entirety!

Looking into flights for next summer,
I could be going JFK to Shanghai on the first leg of the trip, flown by China Eastern Airlines. It would be return on the same flights, same airline too.
The A340-600 is what I’d be on during the JFK-Shanghai and Shanghai-JFK legs of the trip if I get these flights. Curiously, it is NOT a red-eye flight from Shanghai to New York on the way back. The A340-600 must make incredible speed once it reaches cruising altitude.
For those who don’t know, I’m planning to spend several weeks in China with my gf’s family.

Moss seems the likeliest candidate to me.
I think he’d be the DC for the Pack if Capers weren’t around, he got some serious attention for jobs last year, and McKenzie knows him well. I wouldn’t be shocked if Moss gets the head coaching job and Perry gets hired as DC.
