NFL Power Rankings, Week 7: That's more like it

Troy Taormina-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Surprise! The Packers have moved up in SB Nation's power rankings.

We all know what the most important part of pulling off massive season-changing victories is: Moving up in blogger power rankings. The Green Bay Packers are getting things done.

SB Nation NFL editor and Arrowhead Pride manager Joel Thorman ranked the Packers 7th in his power rankings this week, and his explanation is simple.

We all know they looked better than any normal .500 team on Sunday night against the Texans. This isn't too high for them.

The Packers are ranked ahead of three 4-2 teams and 10 other 3-3 teams. Related: There are 11 3-3 teams in the NFL! This league is pretty cool. You will not be surprised to learn that the Packers are the highest ranked .500 team in SB Nation's power rankings.

Do you think the Packers will prove to be better than any of the teams ranked above them? The Ravens' injuries are killers, while the Falcons have been a bit lucky. I'm not sold on the Giants, and the Packers have wins over the Texans and the Bears. There's not a lot separating the NFL's elite from the NFL's average at the moment.
