7 weeks... we are 7 weeks into this thing, people. As we approach the mid-point of the NFL season, uofmike has taken over sole possession (or possibly soul possession. Hey, I don't know what you guys are up to outside of APC... ) of first, with 67 points. Our marksmen of the week were gunslinger (appropriate :P) and Matt Keegan, with 12 out of a possible 13 correct picks! Here are the shiny, new standings:

Some early Halloween candy (but don't each too much, or you'll get cavities):
1) Week 8 pick 'em deadline: Thursday, November 25 at 8:20 PM ET / 7:20 PM Central.
2) All your recs are belong to this post.
3) For your listening pleasure, I present to you... Eric Johnson.
My Week 8 picks:
Tampa Bay at Minnesota: Minnesota's hot start continues for one more week, but the bottom of the hourglass is filling up... . VIKINGS.
Miami at N.Y. Jets: This one should be a defensive battle (17-14 final, perhaps... ). JETS.
San Diego at Cleveland: I would take CLE here, but T. Richardson's ribs are all banged up. CHARGERS.
Indianapolis at Tennessee: Luck has been very average since the Chuckstrong game; on TEN's side, CJ0K has finally decided to play some football. TITANS.
New England at St. Louis (game will be played in London, UK): Neutral field, long way to travel, and New England has been there before (def. Tampa Bay 35-7 in '09). PATRIOTS.
Jacksonville at Green Bay: No MJD for JAX; this will be a rout. PACKERS.
Atlanta at Philadelphia: The FaLoLcons were squeaking by opponents left and right going into their bye; Andy Reid's specialty is winning games coming off byes (also, squeaking by opponents). EAGLES.
Washington at Pittsburgh: WAS gave the defending champs all they could handle, in their house; I like them against a hurting PIT squad. REDSKINS.
Seattle at Detroit: Detroit kinda blows this year. SEAHAWKS.
Carolina at Chicago: Yay, another cupcake opponent for Chicago. BEARS.
Oakland at Kansas City: OAK is 0-3 on the road, KC is 0-3 at home; something has got to give (hint: it's not going to be KC's winless record at home). RAIDERS.
N.Y. Giants at Dallas: The Giants are hot right now (3 W's in a row); meanwhile, Dallas is struggling to beat teams like Carolina. GIANTS.
New Orleans at Denver: Two high-octane offenses go h-2-h in this one, but Denver has the better D. BRONCOS.
San Francisco at Arizona: Another NFC West match-up in prime time? Goody! SF wins this snoozefest. 49ERS.
