Packers star wide receiver Jordy Nelson will test his hamstring in pregame warm-ups before it's decided whether or not he will play in Sunday's game against the Jaguars. It's being reported that Nelson is unlikely to play after re-aggravating an injured hamstring in practice.
On Friday, Nelson was listed as questionable when the news broke of him tweaking the hamstring. If Nelson doesn't play, or isn't effective because of the injury, it will be yet another blow to the Packers' highly-touted passing game led by Aaron Rodgers.
Packers receiver Greg Jennings is going to need surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle that has kept him out for most of the season. With Jennings out, Nelson has performed at a high level. He has 40 catches for 532 yards and five touchdowns.
In last week's win against the Rams, he logged eight catches, 122 yards and a touchdown. The week before that against the then-undefeated Houston Texans, Nelson had nine catches for 121 yards and three touchdowns.
