Not too much news to pass along to you folks today on the injury front (thankfully) but there are some interesting notes. Here's Thursday's injury report for the Packers...
|Name||Position||Injury||Wed Status||Thurs. Status|
|Greg Jennings||WR||Groin / Abdomen||Out||Out|
|Jordy Nelson||WR||Hamstring / Foot||LP||LP|
|T.J. Lang||RT (LG)||Elbow / Wrist||FP||FP|
DNP = Did Not Practice
LP = Limited Participation
FP = Full Participation
N/A = Not on the report this day
Couple things of note...and for once it's mostly good news. Mike Neal returned to practice today, if only on a limited basis. This is good. Andrew Quarless seems to have taken a step back and did not practice today, this is unsurprising considering that he is only just starting to come back from his massive knee injury last year. The only other change was the appearance of Johnny White missing practice due to an illness. Since White has not been activated since joining the Packers this hardly seems earth shattering.
Now for the Lions...
|Name||Position||Injury||Wed Status||Thurs Status|
|Cliff Avril||DE||Back / Concussion||DNP||LP|
|Jason Hanson||K||Left Foot||LP||LP|
The Lions were able to get a few key players to return to practice, if only on a limited basis, including Cliff Avril, Chris Houston, and Calvin Johnson. Perhaps most important out of all of these is Houston. The Lions are going to need all the help they can muster in the secondary with the Packers finally starting to get healthy at receiver. Losing one of their top corners might of been a bit too much for a struggling Lions defense.
