The greatest running back conversation went well, so now let's take a look at linebacker. Same way as before, give me your top 5 (or more) and a few reasons why if your so inclined. This time, I'm going to take your recommendations and make the poll after a week of conversation. So let's hear it, Nation!
1. LT= Insane speed and his motor never stopped. Ask Theisman how good he was?
2. Ray Lewis= Mean, on and off the field, but for this conversation we can focus on the gridiron. All around game at stopping the run and rushing the passer.
3. Junior Seau= I'm sure I'll get some flack for having him this high, but he was amazing to watch. Never really had anyone around him and always made his whole team better. One of the best coverage LBs to ever play.
4. Mike Singletary= Samurai Mike was amazing and I hated him when he played against Green Bay, but he had a nose for the ball and his focus was second to none.
5. Jack Ham= Awesome talent and one of the smartest players in the game. All time leader in INTs at the position and won 4 rings, 6 all pros, 70's All Decade team and 8 Pro Bowls.
Honorable mention= Butkus, Nitschke, Howley, Lanier, Lambert and Brooks
