Aaron Rodgers Is The 2011 NFL MVP and Randall Cobb Won Too

In case you missed it over the weekend, Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb were award winners at the NFL Honors Show on Saturday night. Obviously the big win went to Rodgers, but lets not forget Cobb. Here's what I wrote about both of them on Saturday.

Did Woodson win something?

I didn’t watch the NFL Honors, but I saw Jen Lada tweet something to the effect of “Also, congratulations to Chuck” shortly after Rodgers MVP was announced. Somebody else told me later they thought Woodson had gotten some honor, but I haven’t seen anything written about it since.

Chuck

I wasn’t sure what she was referring to. He might have been at the awards show on Saturday, but maybe it was for his upcoming job with the NFL Network’s Super Bowl coverage on Sunday.

Possibly.

The only thing that made me wonder was getting asked about it later by someone who I know wouldn’t have caught it from Twitter.

I know Homer on 540 calls Rodgers Chuck for some reason.

"I'm here to talk about the economy today -- about the need to get four quarters of strong, consistent performance. That wasn't another Jay Cutler joke, I swear. It could be, but it's not."

I think it's because he "chucks" the ball

Just sickens me to the Giants celebrating today...

The kid in me is saying, “That was our Super Bowl!” The fan in me is saying, “Get em next year!” The psycho in me is saying, “HURRY UP COMBINE/DRAFT!!” lol

I almost forgot what if felt like

being on the outside looking in…. When we won it last year, even with the lockout, that off-season went by so fast.

Time flies when you are on top, it seems.
