This isn't really Packer-related, but it's pretty ridiculous nonetheless. The NFL is saying that the Saints offered a 1 K bounty for injuring players, and a 1.5 K bounty for carrying players off the field. If the allegations prove to be true, well, it's not gonna be pretty for the Saints. Not pretty at all.

I'm all for playing hard, but that's just ridiculous. DC Gregg Williams [Rams] is the one who reportedly launched the program. Others in the Saints organization, namely GM Mickey Loomis, HC Sean Payton both knew about the program, yet they didn't do anything to stop it.
This brings up a few interesting points, though.
What other teams in the NFL might have a similar sort of program?
Who in the Saints organization knew what?
What sort of penalties will be handed down? Remember, the Patriots [for Spygate] got 750 K [500 K fine for Belichick, 250 K for the team] and a 1st round draft pick. This is much, much more serious in my opinion.
