Trading up makes more sense in the new CBA

A great piece from Thomas over at Jersey Al's. Ted Thompson isn't a "trade up" or "trade down" guy, he's a "value" guy. In the old CBA, it was bad value to trade up in the first round unless you were sure you were moving up to get a future superstar. Now, trading up might be worth it even for riskier guys, meaning Thompson is more likely to trade up in the next few drafts than he was in all of his previous drafts as Packers GM.
