I don't know about everyone else, but I am considerably more excited for Friday's draft coverage than the first round on Thursday. The good news for people like me is that there will be considerably less waiting. Day 2 of the 2012 NFL Draft, which is made up of the 2nd and 3rd rounds, starts an hour earlier than Day 1. It kicks off at 7 pm ET, 6 pm central, and there's coverage on both ESPN and NFL Network, just like Thursday.

The Packers have two picks on Day 2, the 59th and 90th overall selections. Each team's 2nd round pick will be announced by a former player, and LeRoy Butler will be doing the honors for the Packers.

It will take a couple hours for the Packers' first pick to come up if they don't make a trade, but don't count on it. The Packers have a lot of arsenal to trade up with, and there's some borderline 1st round talent still hanging around in the 2nd round. If there's a guy lingering that the staff has a very high grade on, don't be stunned to see the Packers jump up 10-plus spots to get him.
